KARR is the worse. It's a piece of junk, easily bypassed, causes erratic alarm/door lock behavior. DO NOT GET IT. DO NOT LET THEM SPLICE UP WIRES ON A BRAND NEW CAR. KARR is 100% invented so dealers can keep making money on it when a car that has it is traded in with it. $1k is way overpriced.

KARR alarm system isn't very good especially for the price the dealer probably charges. Your best bet IMHO would be to get an aftermarket alarm that will do a lot more for a lot less.
